I'm so pissed about the slim. I had it a little over a week and it would get way too hot within a short amount of time. I popped in Mass Effect 2 and it freezes in the first load screen. I returned it and had it replaced with another and haven't had any problems with this one yet, but thankfully I got the 2 year warranty in case it does fuck up again. I've just about lost hope with xbox though.
I can't thank you enough for that hard drive transfer cable. my xbox slim fucked up within a week and I had to return it, but got to at least carry back all the memory from there so I could transfer from my old drive to the newer one.
Ah Gotcha.
I gotta get a new shelf to store my dvd/blu's anyway. I have lots more, just packed away at the moment since I'm moving at the end of the month.
