NICE! I'm surprised you guys chose to review this!
Loved these. I found this in some used DVD store and it had a big ol' poster in it. I was thinking about getting it framed and hanging that fucker. I liked the first one the best. With the couple getting married and living with their intrusive family. I'm a big sucker for neorealism love stories. I think Boccaccio '70 is what drove me to look deeper into that particular genre. Then I found another of my favorite directors, Ermanno Olmi. Maybe check some of his stuff out. Il Posto and I Fidanzati are a couple of my favorite Criterion releases ever. |

Wow, that definitely shows that everyone has different tastes, as I would have never guessed that one to be anyone's favorite. I felt it was the weakest of the bunch, but I'd still give it a 3.5/5. Not a big "love story" fan myself, I prefer coming in on the tail-end when it's all turning to shit, like in The Job

It was close between the Sophia Loren one and that one. Sophia Loren was drop dead in it. Sweet Jesus. I would have bought like every number available.
